The most of trains operating in Lombardy belong to Trenord company, Trenitalia company and Italo company.
The number of trains that reach the requirements of accessibility and usability for people with disabilities is growing steadily. However, there are still railway carriages standing who do not fulfill these standards and which can be not taken independently by travelers with disabilities.

In the last page of the document there is a list where are shown the lines whose trains always provide access to people with disabilities and reduced mobility. For all the remaining lines (not in the list) Trenord suggests to check the Assistance service prior to depart.
