Public transport
In the square in front of the station there is a bus stop where several bus lines stop.

Parking area
The Lecco railway station is in the ZTL area - Limited Traffic Zone. In the station square, on both sides, there is a parking space reserved for disabled pass holders. In via Salvatore Sassi, about 200 meters from the station, you can park on the blue stripes and there are 2 parking spaces reserved for disabled pass holders.

Entrance
The entrance has 5 steps (13 cm high each), which can be overcome by a sloping ramp on the main entrance of the station. The inclined ramp (23 meters long, slope of 4%) starts from the parking area, near the taxi rank; it leads to the entrance doors from which you reach the main hall of the railway station and the ticket office .Along the façade there are 4 entrance doors  (97 cm wide).
Alternatively, you can reach the ticket office using the underpass on the right side of the station and an elevator.

Ticket office
It is located in the main atrium of the station.Counter height: 110 cm; between the operator and the customer there is a window; you can speak to the operator directly or via loudspeakers. Automatic ticket machines are available and their keyboard is 120 cm high above the floor.

Waiting room
From track 1 through a hinged door (90 cm wide) and a threshold (3 cm high) you can reach the waiting room: the room is wide and there are seats (seat  height: 44 cm).

Toilet facilities
Toilets are located along the sidewalk of track 1. In both men's and women's toilet facilities, there is a toilet equipped for people with disabilities; only in the female bathroom there is also a changing table for children. The men's toilet equipped for people with disabilities has the following characteristics:

  • vestibule with hinged door (87 cm wide)
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 250 cm)
  • toilet with hinged door (80 cm wide)
  • suspended toilet (clear space: in front 84 cm, on the right side 108 cm, on the left side 37 cm, handrail on the right side of the toilet).

The women's toilet equipped for people with disabilities has the following characteristics:

  • vestibule with hinged door (87 cm wide)
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 250 cm)
  • toilet with sliding door (90 cm wide)
  • suspended toilet (clear space: in front 77 cm, on the right side 31 cm, on the left side113 cm, handrail on the right side of the toilet)

Tracks
Tracks 1 and 1 Tronco can be reached without obstacles from the entrance to the station, via an inclined ramp or using the underpass path with a lift.
Access to tracks 2, 3, 4 and 5 is only possible by means of an underpass, along a stairway of 22 steps (15 cm high each) with handrail on both sides.

Lifts
Two lifts allow you to enter the station and reach track 1. Elevators connect:
track 1 and the underpass,
the underpass and the exit to Via Lorenzo Balicco (on the opposite side of the facade of the station).

The lifts have the following characteristics:

  • door width: 90 cm;  cabin: inner space 154x154 cm
  • lift level buttons panel with embossed Braille printing (maximum height 100 cm)
  • visual and acoustic signal of arrival at the floor
  • emergency bell (90 cm high above the floor).

Orientation signage
Orientation signage for visually impaired people. Tactile paths that connect different areas of the station (parking area, entrance, ticket office, track 1).

Communication
The public information systems of the station are:

  • paper (timetable for arrivals / departures)
  • visual (monitors)
  • sound.

Bar - Cafeteria
It is located on the left side of the waiting room. It can be accessed through a double leaf  door (120 cm wide each). Inside there is a wide manoeuvring space for a person in a wheelchair.
